| What is the Global Youth Project? |
| The Global Youth project is providing pre-employment training and career counselling to a team of 8 youth participants, between the ages of 19 and 29. They are exploring global issues at a community and international level, while developing transferable skills. The Global Youth will focus on four areas including HIV/AIDS in Africa, and develop innovative methods to engage the public on these issues with the goal of inspiring action at an individual and community level. Some of the skills participants will acquire include internet research, enhanced computer skills, professional correspondence and effective communication techniques. The Global Youth project supports the talents, strengths and interests of individual participants to increase their confidence and help them to excel in their future careers. We are gratefully funded by HRDC of Greater Victoria. |

| Bella Canto, a concert we helped promote, was based on the idea of bringing unity though diversity. The concert consisted of many internationally acclaimed artists, with a range of musical backgrounds, coming together for a common goal. True to the idea of the concert, local non-profits benefited from ticket sales.
