Held at the University of British Columbia, Canadian Future Model United Nations’ inaugural year in 2012 was a superb success. Delegates from over twenty-five high schools across the Lower Mainland participated in its five diverse committees. CFMUN 2013 plans on going above and beyond the high precedent set by last year’s conference. Our Secretariat strives to offer an unmatchable Model United Nations experience for our delegates. We welcome any high school delegate from the first timer to the hardened veteran.

CFMUN will be having its second conference from March 8th – 10th in Downtown Vancouver. It will be a gathering for 285 high school students seeking to educate and better themselves. They will represent various heads of states in the United Nations Security Council, Human Rights Council, Disarmament and International Security Committee, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Cabinet of the United States of America and the World Health Organization. This diverse selection of committees appeals to delegates of all interests and experience.

The conference will be hosted in Downtown Vancouver at the luxurious Coast Plaza Hotel & Suites. Delegates will be accommodated in the hotel’s luxurious rooms in single, double, triple or quadruple rooms. Committee sessions will take place in the Coast Plaza Hotel & Suites conference rooms. All delegates will have access to free wireless high-speed internet and daily newspapers. Delegates will find an extensive variety of restaurants in both price and style for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a quick snack at a convenient distance.
