www.zmag.org The site offers extensive coverage of global issues, with a focus on global economics. It is complex-use it if you are ready to delve into complicated issues. It offers articles by Naomi Klein, Noam Chomsky and many more.

www.opendemocracy.net This is a rare site: you will find readable and intelligent debate from all sides on globalization issues. Use the search engine to find articles on the topic you are researching.

The Media Awareness Network Site has variety of activities/ideas around educating for media awareness, including Jo Cool This interactive online module takes students through twelve mock Web scenarios to test their savvy surfing skills - including a twenty-question online quiz that provides additional food for thought about the Web issues Jo has encountered. There's also an extensive Jo Cool or Jo Fool Teacher's Guide, with background information for teachers and questions and classroom activities for students about online issues such as marketing, privacy, safety, responsible Internet use and authenticating information.
