Action and Info

Case 1 - Coffee

What can you do to support coffee growers? Buy Fair Trade coffee. Besides giving farmers a fair wage for their work, you also support shade grown coffee, which is a sustainable way of growing the beans. Coffee grown under the shade of mixed trees requires few or no chemical inputs, and if the coffee trees are in the shade of other plants and trees, it means that the land was not cleared exclusively for coffee.

Request from coffee shops and grocery stores that they include lines of fair trade certified coffee.
